Scripture Discussion
Scripture Discussion: Explore the Word of God!

Wed 8:45-10:15am at Sacred Heart Activity Center. We are currently studying Paul’s Letter to the Romans. Come for morning Mass and stay for the discussion.

Wed 6:30-8:00pm at St. Peter Ministry Resource Center (Mother Teresa room). We read and discuss next Sunday’s readings. This includes both New and Old Testament.

All are invited and encouraged to participate. There is no teaching, but we learn from one another. It is amazing what insights are shared.

Surviving Divorce: Hope and Healing for the Catholic Family
"Surviving Divorce: Hope and Healing for the Catholic Family" is a parish-based support program for separated and divorced Catholics from Ascension Press, written and presented by Rose Sweet. The objective of the program is to assist participants to move through the emotions of their loss to acceptance, healing, and forgiveness. Healing takes place in peer support groups guided by a trained facilitator.

  • A small-group conversation led by trained facilitators.
  • A 12-week process of healing and hope.
  • Open to all adults who are divorced or are separated and have filed for divorce.
  • Discover a deeper understanding of God’s love for you.
  • Gain wisdom and comfort from experts and others who share your experiences.
  • Focusing on all aspects of surviving your divorce: spiritual, financial, and emotional; through a community of support.
  • Non-Catholics are welcome to attend.

As they witness to their pain and the healing power of Christ in their lives, participants will laugh, cry, and identify with their journeys from heartache to healing.

Men Growing in Discipleship
IRON SHARPENS IRON! Men, join your brothers as we continue our journey into the discipleship of Jesus. It doesn't matter where you are on the journey, only that you desire to share it with your brothers! The men meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7 PM in the St. Peter Ministry Center, Gianna Room. Contact Victor Stearns at 219-363-4313 for more information.

National Eucharistic Procession - July 5th

Please join us for the National Eucharistic Procession. The Procession begins after 8:00AM Mass at Sacred Heart Church, processing to St. Joseph Church.

Thousands followed Christ throughout his earthly ministry. Since his Resurrection, countless Christians have traveled to holy sites in order to connect concretely with places where heaven and earth have touched.

While pilgrimages have a long legacy within the Church, this is the first undertaken at such a scale—walking coast-to-coast with Our Eucharistic Lord!

Fit Shepherds aims to help every man in our community be in the best physical and spiritual shape of his life. Fit Shepherds are formed through demanding workouts, fraternity, and discipleship. We meet every Saturday morning at 6:30am at the Boston Middle School outdoor track. All men 16 and older are welcome.

Fiat Fitness is a women's exercise group at Holy Family Parish that meets each week for prayer, movement, and fellowship. Women at all levels of fitness are welcome. Each session begins with prayer. Workouts are lead by different women, so you get something new each week.

Every Saturday, 7:15am - 8:15am,
St. Peter Ministry Resource Center Gym. For more information, contact Jan Edquist, 219-575-1597.
